Should I approve a sample before a bulk order?

Approving a large batch from a picture leaves important details unresolved. A sample gives you a physical reference to review.

Before you approve

The answer for your order

A sample helps check the award's shape, material, decoration, finish and packaging before bulk production. Yuesen's typical bulk shipment estimate for roughly 100–1,000 pieces is about 3 weeks after sample approval.

What a sample answers

Use the sample to check dimensions, proportion, base stability and assembly. Review text and logo placement at actual size. Check how the finish looks in the intended setting and whether the packaging fits the complete award.

Write down the approval

Identify the approved sample and artwork version. Record any changes that must be made for production and confirm whether another sample is needed. Natural grain variation should be discussed; a sample does not make every piece of natural wood identical.

Budget the full sample stage

Ask for sample cost, sample-ready date and shipping separately. All-wood samples can be as fast as 1 day; mixed-material samples are generally within 1 week. These estimates depend on the design and do not include international transit or revisions.
