Wood vs acrylic vs metal: which award should I choose?

You are choosing between wood, acrylic and metal, but the finished construction matters more than the material label.

The answer for your order

Choose by appearance, construction, decoration and budget. Yuesen makes wood awards and can integrate acrylic or metal with wood. The right combination depends on the design; there is no single best material for every award.

What the design needs

Wood can give the award visible grain and a substantial base. Acrylic can introduce transparent or printed elements, while metal can add plates or other components. Send your desired appearance and dimensions so joining and stability can be evaluated.

Compare finished specifications

Compare the complete construction, not material labels alone. Thickness, finish, print or engraving, assembly and packaging all affect the outcome. Ask to see the material and decoration together in a sample before committing to a bulk order.

Timing and transport

Mixed-material samples generally take within 1 week, subject to confirmation. Added components can change handling and packaging needs. Tell us the destination and arrival date early; the production and shipping plan should reflect the approved design.
